Technological Expertise Through many years of research, Empire Genomics brings significant expertise in the area of comparative genomic hybridization. Our researchers have published fundamental articles on the Human Genome Project, cancer genetics, developmental disorders as well as discovering the smallest known duplication in a Down syndrome phenotype. We have processed in excess of 4,000 samples and regularly deal with a large number of formalin fixed paraffin embedded samples. These samples are typically difficult to work with because of the inability to obtain quality DNA for sampling. Empire Genomics routinely manages these samples and has developed a proprietary method to quality control samples prior to processing. This proprietary process of manufacturing aCGH arrays enables high quality and very reproducible results from assay to assay. These advantages are very important as users work with precious samples that cannot afford to be lost.

The Empire Genomics platform also produces a very high signal to noise ratio which enables confidence in making decisions. Our platform performs best when placed side by side against other platforms on the market. An example of this feature is presented here.
