CARD10-LGALS2 Fusion FISH Probe
The CARD10-LGALS2 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the CARD10 and LGALS2 genes. The fusion of the CARD10 and LGALS2 genes has been associated with Liver Hepatocellular Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

The protein encoded by this gene is a soluble beta-galactoside binding lectin. The encoded protein is found as a homodimer and can bind to lymphotoxin-alpha. It participates in apoptosis signaling through highly specific protein-protein homophilic interactions.
