DSTYK-CSRP1 Fusion FISH Probe

The DSTYK-CSRP1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the DSTYK and CSRP1 genes. The fusion of the DSTYK and CSRP1 genes has been associated with Uterine Carcinosarcoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

Turnaround Time: 7-10 Business Days    Shipping Time: 1-2 Day Expedited Shipping

CSRP1 Gene Summary

This gene encodes a member of the cysteine-rich protein (CSRP) family. This gene family includes a group of LIM domain proteins, which may be involved in regulatory processes important for development and cellular differentiation. The LIM/double zinc-finger motif found in this gene product occurs in proteins with critical functions in gene regulation, cell growth, and somatic differentiation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2010]

Gene Name: Cysteine And Glycine Rich Protein 1

Chromosome: CHR1: 201452657 -201476387

Locus: 1q32.1

DSTYK Gene Summary

This gene encodes a dual serine/threonine and tyrosine protein kinase which is expressed in multiple tissues. It is thought to function as a regulator of cell death. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2008]

Gene Name: Dual Serine/threonine And Tyrosine Protein Kinase
