NCOA3-DUSP15 Fusion FISH Probe

The NCOA3-DUSP15 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the NCOA3 and DUSP15 genes. The fusion of the NCOA3 and DUSP15 genes has been associated with Bladder Urothelial Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

Turnaround Time: 7-10 Business Days    Shipping Time: 1-2 Day Expedited Shipping

NCOA3 Gene Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is a nuclear receptor coactivator that interacts with nuclear hormone receptors to enhance their transcriptional activator functions. The encoded protein has histone acetyltransferase activity and recruits p300/CBP-associated factor and CREB binding protein as part of a multisubunit coactivation complex. This protein is initially found in the cytoplasm but is translocated into the nucleus upon phosphorylation. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. In addition, a polymorphic repeat region is found in the C-terminus of the encoded protein. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2010]

Gene Name: Nuclear Receptor Coactivator 3

Chromosome: CHR20: 46130600 -46285621

Locus: 20q13.12

DUSP15 Gene Summary

The protein encoded by this gene has both protein-tyrosine phophatase activity and serine/threonine-specific phosphatase activity, and therefore is known as a dual specificity phosphatase. This protein may function in the differentiation of oligodendrocytes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2016]

Gene Name: Dual Specificity Phosphatase 15

Chromosome: CHR20: 30448869 -30458479

Locus: 20q11.21
