The PDE4D-RAB3C Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the PDE4D and RAB3C genes. The fusion of the PDE4D and RAB3C genes has been associated with Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma. The encoded protein has 3',5'-cyclic-AMP phosphodiesterase activity and degrades cAMP, which acts as a signal transduction molecule in multiple cell types.
