The SCARB1-DHX37 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the SCARB1 and DHX37 genes. The fusion of the SCARB1 and DHX37 genes has been associated with Breast Invasive Carcinoma. The protein encoded by this gene is a plasma membrane receptor for high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL). The encoded protein mediates cholesterol transfer to and from HDL.
