The SNTB2-TMCO7 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the SNTB2 and TMCO7 genes. The fusion of the SNTB2 and TMCO7 genes has been associated with Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Stomach Adenocarcinoma, and Head And Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma . Dystrophin is missing in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy patients and is present in reduced amounts in Becker Muscular Dystrophy patients. The protein encoded by this gene is a peripheral membrane protein found associated with dystrophin and dystrophin-related proteins.
